The output of rotary dryers will vary depending on factors such as equipment specifications, material type, moisture content, and heat source configuration. Generally speaking
Small rotary dryers have a daily output of about 20-80 tons
Medium-sized rotary dryers can reach 200-500 tons/day
Large-scale complete rotary drying equipment can produce more than 1,000 tons/day
For example, in the case of coal slime drying, a medium-sized rotary dryer with standard configuration can process 10-30 tons of material per hour. If it runs for 16 hours a day, the daily output can reach 160-480 tons.

About energy consumption
Take coal slime as an example. Under normal working conditions, the heat required for drying one ton of material is about 4000-6000 kcal. When equipped with a high-efficiency coal-fired hot air furnace system, the coal consumption is about 0.15-0.25 tons.
We can further optimize the system energy efficiency according to the initial moisture content of the material, the form of the heat source and the equipment configuration to help customers reduce operating costs. If natural gas, hot air recovery system or three-cylinder structure is used, the unit energy consumption can be further reduced to the advanced level of the industry.
